Sheepwash insects

8/08/11
With bird activity limited to only 3 Common Tern, i tunred to the insects, and particualrly dragonflies around the site.
I found 5+ Blue-tailed Damselflies, among numberous Common Blue, and a few Azure Damselflies.

I found this moth Called a Latticed Heath.
And a couple of Brown Hawker dragonflies were showing, including one which obligingly perched on nettles for me!

That Latticed Heath is an interesting looking moth. I don't believe I've ever seen one.
